Travel Channel Tries To Film Robert For New Show
Lara Benario, Associate Producer, of the upcoming "Mysteries at the Museum" by Optomen Productions, said that the crew came to Key West on Monday, August 23, and wondered if they would have trouble with Robert. The next day, as they tried to film the doll their best HD camera wouldn't work. First the cameraman blamed the temperature. He said it was because the camera went from the cold hotel room to the warm museum. But he did not have an explanation when he announced it was fixed and then filmed Robert. Unfortunately, the film was blank. Lucky for the crew they did have another camera. They were upset as they wanted to use the big camera and tried to get one shipped from Miami, but when they found out it would cost $900 for the shipping they decided to use their back up camera. Finally after many apologies to Robert and asking him nicely if they could use the camera they wanted, it began to work and they got the shots they needed. They planned to do more shooting at the Artist’s house Tuesday afternoon. The footage will be used in this new program for the Travel Channel. Just another example of Robert's mischief.
